The Lunar New Year Event of 2024 was a mini-event that began February 9th, 2024, at 3:00 PM EST, and ended April 1st, at 8:33 PM EST.

Event[]
The Lunar New Year Event 2024 released 21 new event-exclusive challenges and several new Chinese New Year-themed accessories and base buildings. Completing all of the challenges would allow the player to claim the grand prize of a Fulong Egg, among other rewards.
The event took place in Origins near the farmland area. A bridge leading from the right of the Spinner Wheel lead to the mini-event. A tall central pagoda and smaller stands, lanterns, and fireworks were present. There was also a destructible Chinese gong with a Fulong image on it. It respawned every 15 seconds, and, prior to February 20th, it would also award 40 EXP.
The event's host was a Yueshi NPC named Shan, who could be located underneath the center pagoda. The event shop was located in one of the smaller stands and several other Yueshi NPCs and one Hongliang NPC were present around the mini-event's location. Players were able to complete the Chinese New Year Picture through Shan in order to receive the Lunar New Year Painting base building.
A limited Fulong Hat UGC accessory was planned to release with part one of the event and would have been awarded to the first 4,000 players to complete the first 7 missions.[1] Due to a Roblox error, the limited Fulong Hat UGC was put on hold for Week 3 of the event.[2] The accessory's obtainment requirements were changed to be unlocked for any player who had reached the 17th mission.
However, the item was taken off sale on February 21st, due to players exploiting the accessory into their Roblox inventories through illegitimate means.[3] A new, non-limited and permanent Fulong Hat UGC was released later that day.[4]
Challenges[]
There were 21 event challenges. Every "week" (February 9th, 14th, and the 21st) of the event released seven challenges. If the player was in Origins when they completed a mission, the next one would be automatically pinned.
The player must have completed the previous challenge before they could unlock the next one. Challenges could be completed more than once, however there were some exceptions.

Event Shop[]
The Event Shop could be located to the right of Shan and was run by a Yueshi NPC named Huanglong. It consisted of a small, decorated Chinese pagoda complete with three small tables under it. Some of the tables had what appeared to be ceramics atop them. The Painter's Easel building was present behind Huanglong.

- The Lunar New Year Event 2024 was the first Lunar New Year event to take place in Dragon Adventures.
- The Lunar New Year Event 2024 was made to celebrate 2024 being the Chinese Year of the Dragon.[9]
- The Lunar New Year Event 2024 was originally intended to have 16 challenges. It is unknown why it was altered.
- All of the Lunar New Year Event 2024's NPCs' names have meaning in Chinese.
- Fuzanglong references to the Chinese dragon of hidden treasures of the same name, Fuzanglong (伏藏龙 or 伏藏龍).
- Fuzanglong's coloration resembles some depictions of Fuzanlong in mythology.
- Huanglong (黄龙/黃龍 in Chinese) means "Yellow Dragon", deriving from 黄/黃 (huáng), meaning yellow, and 龙/龍 (lóng), meaning dragon.
